# IDNI (idni.digital) > IDNI ("I'm Definitely Not In…") gives remote workers, expats and digital nomads their own private internet address in their home country (the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany and 69 more): a dedicated static IP that isn't shared and stays the same every day. Sold worldwide, to customers anywhere, for private addresses in 74 countries. It is not a VPN. Price (USD, no setup fee, cancel anytime): Private Address $10/month (or $50 for 6 months, $100 for 1 year). Private Address Premium (never-used when available; otherwise dedicated + ~300 Mb/s + more simultaneous connections) $15/month (or $75 for 6 months, $150 for 1 year). ## What it is, in plain language - Every device online has an IP address that tells websites roughly where you are. - IDNI routes your browsing through one private, dedicated address in the country you choose, so websites see an address there instead of a hotel, café, foreign mobile network or VPN data center. - The address is static (the same every day) and dedicated to one customer. - When ordering, customers choose a country (74 available). US orders get a clean, steady US address with no state or city choice; location databases usually show US addresses around a large hub such as New York or Dallas. In other countries customers can optionally pick a city (or leave it on "Any"). Websites only see a rough area, so an exact city match isn't needed. - Works on Windows, Mac, iPhone, Android and browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge). Supports HTTP and SOCKS5, with username/password or IP-whitelist login. Setup takes about five minutes with step-by-step guides at https://idni.digital/setup/. ## Who it's for - Remote workers traveling or living abroad who want to keep their connection to home, whichever country home is. - People whose bank, card or account sign-ins get flagged or locked when they log in from a new country while traveling. - Remote workers whose employer approves working abroad and wants one fixed address to add to its trusted locations. - Americans, Brits, Canadians, Australians and others abroad who need a private IP back home for banking apps and their country's versions of websites (e.g. a US IP address abroad, a UK IP address abroad, a Canadian IP while traveling). - Digital nomads who want one steady private IP address for remote work, in any country, instead of one per country they visit. ## Available home countries (74) United States, Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Ecuador, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Moldova, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Türkiye, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Vietnam. ## Languages The homepage is available in English (https://idni.digital/), Spanish (https://idni.digital/es/), Brazilian Portuguese (https://idni.digital/pt/), German (https://idni.digital/de/), French (https://idni.digital/fr/) and Italian (https://idni.digital/it/). The store and client area follow the same language; setup guides are in English. Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are available in all six languages (English version prevails). ## Private static proxy vs VPN - A VPN encrypts all traffic and exits through shared data-center IPs, which many services detect and block. - A private static proxy like IDNI exits through one dedicated address that isn't shared like a VPN's, so it stays the same every day and is easy for an IT team to recognise. - IDNI does not encrypt all traffic like a VPN; websites' own HTTPS still protects data. Some people use both. ## Honest limits - Users are responsible for following website terms, local laws and their employer's policies. IDNI keeps your connection to home; it does not change what you've agreed to. IDNI is not for hiding your location from an employer. - Company-managed devices may use other location signals (e.g. device location) that a proxy does not change. ## Setup guides (plain English) Customers get an IP address, an HTTP port, a SOCKS5 port, a username and a password in their account (My Services › Private Address). - Hub, organised by how much is covered (browser only, whole device, every app, every device): https://idni.digital/setup/ - IDNI Proxy Service browser tool for Chrome (free from the Chrome Web Store; paste the one-line details from the welcome email once, one switch to turn the IDNI address on or off, built-in "what websites see" check, video-call/WebRTC protection, sites to leave alone; details stay in the browser): https://idni.digital/extension/ — install: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/gdgkfjbfehohohfkkiaimmcfkdbdmncm - Browser only (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) with FoxyProxy or ZeroOmega/SwitchyOmega; use HTTP in Chrome/Edge because they can't authenticate SOCKS5: https://idni.digital/setup/browser/ - iPhone & iPad (Settings › Wi-Fi › ⓘ › Configure Proxy › Manual; per Wi-Fi network, not cellular): https://idni.digital/setup/iphone/ - Android (Super Proxy app for all apps; or Wi-Fi › Advanced options › Proxy › Manual, which has no password field): https://idni.digital/setup/android/ - Windows 11 (Settings › Network & internet › Proxy; browsers prompt for the proxy password): https://idni.digital/setup/windows/ - Mac (System Settings › Network › Wi-Fi › Details › Proxies; Web + Secure web proxy with password): https://idni.digital/setup/mac/ - Every app (Proxifier for Windows/Mac, free Clash Verge Rev, Shadowrocket/Potatso/Super Proxy for iPhone, Super Proxy for Android): https://idni.digital/setup/every-app/ - Every device with an OpenWrt / GL.iNet travel router (PassWall, OpenClash, redsocks; advanced): https://idni.digital/setup/router/ - Check it works (what-is-my-IP test): https://idni.digital/setup/check/ - Troubleshooting FAQ: https://idni.digital/setup/troubleshooting/ ## Guides (plain English, for digital nomads, remote workers and expats) - All guides: https://idni.digital/guides/ - Why bank, work and shopping apps act up abroad, and what a private static IP is: https://idni.digital/guides/why-apps-block-you-abroad/ - VPN vs private static IP for travelers (comparison table, when to use each or both): https://idni.digital/guides/vpn-vs-residential-ip/ - How to set up a private IP on iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac (which setup to pick): https://idni.digital/guides/set-up-home-ip-any-device/ - Using a fixed address your IT team can approve (for employer-approved work abroad): https://idni.digital/guides/fixed-address-it-can-approve/ - Using US bank and fintech apps while living abroad (codes, travel notices, steady connection): https://idni.digital/guides/us-bank-apps-abroad/ - Using your home country's websites as an expat: https://idni.digital/guides/country-locked-websites-expats/ - Digital nomad tech checklist (15 items): https://idni.digital/guides/digital-nomad-tech-checklist/ ## Buying, payment and policies - Payment: card via Stripe, or crypto (Bitcoin, USDT, ETH and more) via NOWPayments.
